I can access CRM using the "CRM Management" shortcut.
I am trying to enable access to a few features in our MS
CRM installation (specifically New/Case and New/Article).
If I log in as the Domain Administrator on our MS CRM
server, I can access CRM using the "CRM Management"
shortcut. Once into the CRM Web Interface, I drop down on
the New menu and see "Case" and "Article" in their own
section of the menu.
However, if I login with my own account ID from my
workstation, I do not see these options in the New menu.
I have matched my login settings with the settings for the
Domain Administrator in CRM (Business Unit is the same, no
Team membership, only in the System Administrator role,
and both have a Microsoft CRM Sales Standard License
added).
I also tried Microsoft CRM Deployment Manager and
Publishing changes to all objects, then
running "IISReset", but that did not change my User
login's ability to see these options.
Any thoughts on what might be hindering access would be
appreciated,
Is the Domain Admin account the one who installed MSCRM?
Did you create a separate crmadmin account? and was this
the account you were referring to as having the problem?
a standard sales license cannot create a case nor an
article.
