Problem in installing Microsoft CRM integration for Great plains
During the installation of Microsoft CRM
integration for Great plains software,on a particular
screen "Specify Security account and servers",we need to
mention a domain Username which has access to CRM with
administrative previliges.I have created a IntegrationUser
(With administrator role)in CRM as mentioned in the
installation guide.I have been making vain efforts,to
associate this UserID and password in the above mentioned
screen.Every time i give the user id and password and
click next,it gives me a error saying that "Either the CRM
server is not valid or you have entered the wrong user
name and password.".I have cross checked the
username,password and server name several times.
The CRM security services is running Any help is really appriciated.
Not much help for you, I'm afraid but I have had exactly the same problem
and have been struggling with it for weeks, on & off. Came back to it today
for further research which is why I found your post.
I am tring to install this using a one box SBS 2003 test deployment and have
sucessfully installed the integration before on a W2K Server so was wondering
if SBS was the problem - what are you installing on?
Also, I was asked to check that my Integration cd was dated Feb 2004 as
apparently some dodgy Jan 2004 one slipped through the net.
Please post if you get a resolution, or drop me an email and I will do the
same as it is driving me mad!!!!
