The credit score range is 330 - 850, or thereabouts. I have had perfect
credit my whole life and my debt to income ratio is very low. For
instance, we have owned both vehicles for a long time and have one
credit card that we pay off every month. I have another credit card
that has a zero-interest balance that I've been paying off, but the
balance on that is around 2K and I pay about 500 on it each month. I
make a decent salary. Some years it's upper 5 figures, this year,
probably in the 100K-130K range.
My credit score is 790.
How does one go about getting an 800 plus credit score? From what I've
read, 790 is excellent. But, I'm wondering. Why don't I have an 850, or
thereabouts?
-I don't believe the credit reporting agencies have access to my
checking/savings account records, my retirement accounts, or equity
holdings. I think they may only have information based on current and
historic credit that has been extended to m
