Best credit card transaction processing company?
I'm looking for advice on what's the best company to use for credit card
transactions. I understand there are only a handfull of companies that
actually do the processing but that there are dozens that act as resellers
to these.
I've so far researched authorize.net and Cybercash. I've heard some bad
things about Cybercash (can other's confirm this?).
-There are a few merchant accounts that have their own processor built in, so
you don't need a third-party processor, one is at

Express, an agent office of Cardservice Int'l.
Cardservice Int'l sells through it's agent offices of which there
are 200.
Then, each agent office can have their own reseller program.
Then of course there are other companies who sell merchant
accounts as well... so you have to be very careful and
research, research, research.
The reason I decided to open up our own agent office, is because
when I was in search of a merchant account for our other business
I was ripped off HORRIBLY!!! Spending four times as much
as what we charge our customers.
-Think I got it the first time. I am sure I got it the second
time. But for certain there is no mis-understanding the third
time. But the fourth time wasn't a necessary post.
However, others may not be as quick as me so you may want to post
2 or 3 more time just to make sure.
-The problem with both of those companies are they do not offer the
whole Payment solution in one.
You need three things in order to do credit card processing online.
1. Have a Merchant Account
2. Have a Payment Gateway
3. Have a bank that will authorize the credit cards
Authorize.net, and Cybercash are only processing companies, they refer
you to another company to get a Merchant Account. They only process in
two currencies US Dollar and Canadian Dollar.
