Can anybody recommend good and reseanable (price) Driving School?
I have over 150 hours of defensive driving (classroom)
and over 20 years of driving experience.I find it totally
useless in Austin.
Important rules of thumb:
1.Never drive under 20 mph in a parking lot.
2.Never drive faster than 35 mph on a freeway.
3.Always stop when entering a freeway.
4.Never use signals.
5.Courtesy is for wimps.
6.Never give the right-of-way,always take it.
7.Slow traffic should move to the far left lane and fast traffic should
move to the far right lane.
8.It is your right to control other vehicles with your vehicle.
9.Weaving in traffic is a skill which takes alot of practice.
10.Always drive within 10 feet of the car in front of you.You should
never let anyone come between you and the car in front of you,
especially if you are near an intersection or on/offramp.
11.Drink alcoholic beverages or do heavy drugs when driving, you'll need
them to handle the stress.
12.Ignore all flashing lights and sirens, they're not meant for you.
13.Keep your eye on all the road signs. There are many of them and they
are far more important than the people in the other vehicles.
14.If all else fails and you are involved in an accident, remember,it's
not your fault.
