Help With Skin Sensitivity Problem?
I am a very healthy 72.
I visited away from home for a week and found that a rented car seat
belt put strong pressure downwards and irritated my shoulder.
Now it is so sensitive that when I move, my shirt bothers me, and there
have been sympathetic irritations going down my arm.
I have covered the affected area, to reduce friction. The pain is
reduced, and the sympathetic symptoms have gone away.
I assume that the skin, being the largest organ in the body, can show
patterns like this.
I imagine that, if I go to an MD, he/she will talk about possible
shingles and prescribe a hefty antibiotic, but I try to stay away from
that approach.
Any suggestions bsed on personal experience?
