Cisco training and Effective Training Solutions. And Cisco Training . !-- end title -->
-Let me know asap if you got any news on Effective Training
Solutions. This was the company that managed to sell Hubbard
training courses to Cisco called "100% Proficiency Training".
I've found a some on Ingrid Gudenas who did the sale. Anybody
here who knew anybody involved in ETS or have done their
courses?
-Anybody know if there are any Cisco training centres to prepare for writing the CCNA in NL? If not, any other suggestions??
-No news, but ETS is identical to Applied Scholastics.

-To the second question:
-To the second question:
+If you have access to them, get two routers and hook them up back to back There asre loads of suggestions for how to make a home cisco lab on the net.
Most 5 day courses will only go through the book material, and the ccna material isnt very hands on.
Do you work with cisco gear at your job?
Hands on experience is really the best teacher, and with a home lab, the books and many internet resources, the ccna is easily achievable. How much experience you have with tsp/ip and networks/ routing will prepare
you beforehand. CCNA is a major recap of those items.
+You don't need any Cisco hw to prep for the CCCNA, however I would
recommend it.
You can get a cheap Cisco 2514 on Ebay for $200-300, if so just have a look for what IOS it is running, you would want something recent
(12+)if you want to do certain things. The 2514 is nice because it has 2 Ethernet ports
Another option is a software based Cisco router Simulation
(http://www.semsim.com/. I have not used this one but others (Forgot
the name right now) and they are pretty good.
+Finally I would recommend doing a knowledgeNet course. I have done
many Cisco courses with them (CCNP,CSVPN,CSIDS,IPTT,CSPFA and SECUR)
and find them to be excellent, after the web course you can purchase
the course on CD also.
