Engagement Ring/Wedding ring set--- Never Used! ?
I have a custom made 0.5 ct. Diamond engagement ring along with the
matching men's and woman's wedding rings. These rings were designed
around a Christian Theme. The engagement ring has a diamond in the
center of a dove. This engagement ring interlocks with a matching
wedding ring. The man's ring matches the engagement ring. All are 24
ct. gold. I paid $1500 for all 3 rings. I would like to sell them for
$750.
Hey, as long as the MOoRMC is buying, I've got one of those things above
that I'd be willing to part with. It hasn't aged 10 years from the time
I bought it, though.
Or, since I'm a member of the MOoRMC, would I be expected to donate it
to the brotherhood?
What? We're supposed to donate our Playboys? :) Besides, I thought our
vow of poverty prevented us from sending in dues. Or is there a faction
now trying to store up treasures within the monastery. Monastic schism
here we come! :)
You haven't been paying attention. There is NO vow of poverty involved in
the MOORMC; however, many members have adopted the lifestyle simply out of
reality.
