Seeking Celtic Knot Wedding Rings ?

My wife and I are takeing a 10th wedding anniversary trip to Ireland and

Scotland the first two weeks of September. While there, we would like

to get new wedding rings. What we are looking for are gold continuous

Celtic knot rings.

If anyone can point us to a good jeweler, or other shop that would carry

these rings, please drop me an e-mail. A place in Dublin or Edinburgh

would be best, but I am open to all suggestions.

we returned from Scotland a few weeks again, and were on a similar

search for Jewelery. Here's our two favorite places for jewelery in the

Highland area:

1. Hebridean Jewelery, located in Fort William. They had the best selection

and the best quality of anywhere we went. They also have an incredible

catalog of Celtic knot wedding bands we saw.

2. Skye Jewelery, located on the Isle of Skye. They had almost as good of a

selection as Hebridean Jewelery. Very friendly folks. Worth a look.

I second Skye Jewelry, their selection was the best I saw in

Scotland (never stopped in Fort William), they will resize your

ring immediately if needed - even the most complex Celtic knot rings.

It was a hard-to-walk-away-from-without-buying-lotsof-silver type

of store.

Yes, true. But they're the ones that sent me off to find a new pair of

Viking ship earrings when I miss laid my pair. I had rang up a couple who

own a shop in Florida asking if they carried the jewelry. The anser was

no, but, the owner said his wife was off on a buying trip and would get

back to me if she was willing to go hunting for a new pair for me. I

never heard back that she had picked up another pair for me in Fort

William. I panicked and rang up a B&B in Portree and got the number of

Tippecanoe. The owner couldn't help at the shop but then gave me the

South Uist number. Needless to say, the two new sets of earrings showed

up on the same day, plus I found my old pair. My real Viking was miffed

that I now had 6 Viking ships for two ears plus a nice phone bill without

leaving my living room. He won't let me have a catalogue.....
