long haul truck.I can't see wasting my time with 5 to 8 weeks of classroom
training with no income.I want to go to work and learn.Please reply if
you are interested.
There is the possiblity of hiring on with an owner/operator who has several
trucks leased on with a company.You would be working for him,driving his
trucks,even though you are not a direct employee of his company.
Once the company sees how you handle the equipment and do the job,they will
then be more likely to hire you as a direct employee.
Work for them for a couple of years, then go elsewhere if you want.
"Seat of the pants" training is no longer acceptable.
