Buying Cosmetics/Skin Care On-line?

Obviously, online sales would be a tremendous boon for those of us who do
not live in cities where we can purchase our brands of choice. But, I think
the number of returns that would follow from people purchasing sight unseen
(and if returns were not allowed, I would not purchase) may ultimately drive
up prices.
-I am not sure. Do you really think more people would go to the effort of
returning product by trooping to the post office or UPS and paying the lost
shipping cost than actually return product to stores? Also remember there
would not be the same counter space, sales % and staffing expenses that
stores have. I think it is a very small number of people that actually
return items. Before Alt.fashion I never thought of it. Even in the
beginning when I made a good size Trish order from her Dr. Husband, I never
thought of returning the items that didn't work. And now I return items
that irritate my skin or I feel "substandard" , but this is a small % of
what I purchase.

-I love on-line shopping, for everything from clothes, to shoes, to beauty
products. All the items I buy on-line are not available locally. If I'd
failed to use this method of access, I'd be unable to buy Arche shoes,
Fitigues clothing, and most importantly, my Pola hair and skin care products.
Sometimes there are great things out there that you run across via internet
contacts that you would never have seen otherwise
