"Seconded" body jewelry?

"That way"? You mean they don't get stuff sterile? So how come we
still get accurate results using the glassware that has been used for
bacterial cultures and claved *many* times in the lab (microbiology,
molecular genetics)? Autoclaves *work* if set up, used, and checked
adequately.
One argument would be that glass is "smoother" than metal also it is
less prone to scratching although this is very debatable.

Actually on a similar tack as piercing becomes more popular in the UK,
hell everyone and the dog is getting it done!, non piercing shops are
selling jewelry, one shop's assistant (15 if she was a day) showed me
a double CBR and preceded to pull it apart to show how wonderful the
design was, she then returned it to the box, also all the jewelry was
in a "viewing box" and each piece held in place with a pin.

I just thought NO WAY would i want that pushed through a new piercing
and come to think of it an old one as the pin is likely to scratch the
jewelry and then this scratches inside the hole!
