New Scientist article on body jewelry ?
According to the (somewhat short) article, an awful lot of body jewelry
has a nickel content over the EU-mandated guidelines.

Subsequent studies, yet to be published, have shown that
other types of jewellery, intended for pierced tongues,
cheeks and genitals, are even worse, according to
P\"onk\"a. Eleven of 12 items tested exceeded EU safety
limits.
Unfortunately, they don't name names, nor give references.
