Drugstore/Low End Skincare

I'm still loving my Olay cleansing cloths for normal/dry skin and on
the suggestion of another AFer am going to try the Cetaphil oily skin
version. The regular left a film on my skin although I don't wear much
makeup at all. But I think the oily skin version might work if I
remember to rinse well (hahaha, all my mornings are crazed).

Also, L'Oreal Refinish microdermabrasion kit. Still a goodie for me. I
just wish they would make the soothing SPF 15 lotion to use after the
scrub as its own product because the texture is perfect, not too heavy
or wimpy, for a daytime moisturizer.

I'm also curious about Avon's Anew Clinical Laser System because I have
some small but annoying broken capillaries on the side of my nose and
don't want to - and can't afford - lasers at a spa ATM. Has anyone
tried this? Results? I know Anew is a winner in many other areas.
-There are a lot of drugstore skin care products that work for me,
including Olay foaming face wash for sensitive skin (I swear by this),
either Olay's daily scrub with salicylic acid or St. Ive's medicated
Apricot scrub and Loreal Line Eraser with Retinol for the eyes. Even
my foundation is low end (Cover Girl Trueblend powder foundation).

-My skincare is pretty basic and seems to be working just fine:

Makeup remover (including eye makeup): Albolene
Cleanser: alternate between Clearasil Daily Face Wash and Olay Total
Effects Anti-Blemish Daily Cleanser
Toner: a variety of alcohol-free ones, including "flavored" witch
hazel

Also, I use Olay Regenerist Microdermabrasion & Peel System at least
once/week and Aveeno Skin Brightening scrub every morning in the shower
(thanks again to cofarb for this rec).

Finally, I use Reviva Firming Eye Cream morning and night, available at
Vitamin Shoppe. I had been spending the $$ on Perricone eye cream but
developed a reaction to it. The Reviva seems to be a milder version of
the same ingredients: DMAE, alpha lipoic acid, and ester-C.
