Help--skincare question for the AF experts!
I hope someone can help me with this...I have combo skin, oily
nose/chin but dry cheeks/forehead. My skin is relatively blemish-free but
my skin isn't near as -smooth- as I'd like....it's got tiny 'bumps' on the
surface, esp. on my cheeks (around my nose). They're not noticeable unless
you get up close but they bother me! Anyway, is there any skincare product
that could help these little bumps go away? And what exactly are
they...clogged pores maybe?
-I would probably go with an AHA or a prescription retinoid along with an
otherwise gentle skin regimen, including daytime moisturizer (oil free!)
with SPF15.
-If they are clogged pores you might want to try one of the salicylic gel
products to apply on those areas. Neutrogena and Clean & Clear make good and
reasonably priced BHA gels. Also try using a Nahri or Wonder cloth for gentle
exfoliation.
