Sun Lamp Treatment
Has anyone ever had sun-lamp treatment for acne? I had it a year ago;
and it worked great on my back. The acne was all gone, until I had to
take a drug called Prednisone, for another medical problem. One of the
side-effects of this drug is acne.
I am now going for my second round of sun-lamp treatment. What works
best for acne: UVA or UVB rays? One dermitologist says UVA is best, the
other says UVB.
I am not sure why this works for me but whenever I am tan in the summer
(whether from a sun lamp or the natural sun) my acne clears up. I guess it
just helps to dry the skin.
