CRM Software used in banking?
I am a consultant representing some of our customers in
the banking industry. I am interested to know if there
are any companies out there doing CRM Software implemetations into
banks and what there experience has been. We are possibly
interested in using MS CRM Software within our bank. Does anyone
have any good references for companies doing these sorts
of implementations?
I can't comment from the perspective of someone who has actually implemented
CRM at a bank, but I can say that relationships between the bank I primarily
work for and its customers are pretty complex, and I don't think MS CRM
would handle it well in its current incarnation.
Think about the applicant/co-applicant/co-signer relationships on loans for
example. Then think about the fact that the relationships between the
parties may be entirely different from one loan to the next.
I'd certainly like to hear of a success story though
One of the advatages of Microsoft CRM is that it is a great platform to
build on top of. For example a number of ISV's have produced addon's to make
CRM work in other industries such as for associations etc. I have yet to
hear of anything in the banking sector though.
We are a MSCRM VAR and have been working with some banks (credit unions)
that are considering MSCRM. We have deep qualifications in both CRM and
banking. At present we are working with several banks on their functional
requirements and have relationships with several of the MS ISVs that have
developed banking solutions for MSCRM.
