Anual Credit Report Com

Q. A lawyer told me the contract is unenforcable since you didn't actually sign anything. I can't attest to that being true or not, but I really don't see Sprint taking you to court over $150. It really wouldn't be in their best interest. Do you think it is too expensive for me to afford?

A. That's true, they won't take you to court, they will send you a few bills, send it to a collection agency and if they can't collect, they will write it off. Did you happen to notice the middle part? If a collection agency can't or doesn't get the money, guess what they do? They put it on your credit report. Now that doesn't hurt you probably at all until you try to get a credit card, buy a vehicle or house or apply for certain jobs. All for $150 or you just finish off what you agreed to. The lawyer is probably right but you are going to spend a lot more than $150 for the lawyer to defend you. They have lawyers on retainer. And most of the agreements are either e-mailed to you or faxed unless you were in a Sprint PCS store to begin with. And for you to get the price for the agreement, you had to return it. Are you sure you didn't forget that you did that? .
