As the enormous baby boomer population faces aging, more and more physicians
are posed with questions regarding how to slow the aging process.
Well-informed, educated patients, especially those in the baby boomer
generation, want to take charge of their health so they can avoid premature
aging or age gracefully in good health.
In response to this growing trend, the American Academy of Anti-Aging
Medicine (A4M) will present specific anti-aging techniques for the
office-based physician August 15 & 16, 1998 at the Sheraton Meadowlands
Hotel in East Rutherford, NJ.
This two-day event will focus on the clinical practice of anti-aging
medicine for medical professionals. The American Board of Anti-Aging
Medicine (ABAAAM) cetification exam will be offered following this
educational event.
Physicians from all over the world will attend this A4M conference in order
to learn how to incorporate anti-aging medicine into their practices.
Topics include hormone replacement therapy, brain aging and repair,
Alzheimer's detection and prevention, cancer detection and prevention,
nutritional intervention, anti-aging dermatology, and the connection between
diet, nutrition and accelerated aging.
Featured speakers will include Luke R. Bucci, Ph. D., University of Utah,
Robert Goldman, D.O., M.D., Ph. D., Dharma Singh Khalsa, M.D., Eric R.
Braverman, M.D., and Paul Yanick, Jr., Ph. D., along with others. The
two-day educational seminar is open to medical professionals and interested
individuals, whether members of A4M or not.

A4M is currently conducting the Centenarian Study, testing the hormonal
biomarkers of aging from patient volunteers 100 years of age or older.
