Lancome Vinefit moisturizer

..I can't believe I'm saying this, but Lancome's new moisturizer,
Vinefit, is so much better than the Chanel ones we have for
normal/combination skin! It has an SPF of 15, and our Chanel
Rectifiance ones with SPF 15 have this awful fragrance that I can't
stand (very perfumey!), and are too heavy, but the Hydra products are
too light and not moisturizing enough. Of course, I'm sure my skin is
an exception and our products do work for most people.

But I got a sample of Vinefit from our Lancome lady, Eileen, and it is
*HEAVENLY*. It is hydrating, but light. Not too light. It has the
slightest *hint* of fresh, grape smell, but it is barely there. And it
left my skin feeling like silk, not like sunscreen. It is *AWESOME*. I
really think I might fork out the $50 for this! And you know what, even
with the SPF 15, my face is not *shiny*. This stuff is amazing!

I better decide on this while they still have a free gift...(at Lord and
Taylor, btw)...it's got your choice of warm or cool colors, and it has
nailpolish, 2 lipsticks, vinefit, a lipstick case, and definicils
mascara, in a black lancome bag.

Oh, there's a purchase with purchase thing at our store, too, where you
can get a black purse with maribou trim, full of makeup (eyeshadows,
blush, lipstick, mascara), and a tresor mini, for $19.50 with any other
Lancome purchase!

I think it would drive me nutty to deal with the mobs, but sometimes I
wish we had specials like that. Then I smack myself when I see what
poor Eileen has to deal with...
-Do you know what the main sunscreen/sunblock ingredients are? Curious if
this product was broad spectrum or not ...

-I got a sample of this and did not like this as much as I loved the smell
. It has titanium dioxide in it which left a white cast on my face and
started rubbing off when I put my makeup on! Maybe I'd just put too much on
. It did feel very light, however, and except for the white cast, I
would've been willing to pay $50 for it as well.

-I think at the Lancome website, the VineFit was $35.

It seems as if grapes & grapeseed extract are the new thing in the past
year or so. Wasn't it olives a while back? Anyway, Uvavita makes a
grapeseed extract moisturizer that I've been curious to try(It's
actually made by Francis Ford Coppola's son, & is also sold at the
Niebaum-Coppola winery in Napa)

heres's the Uvavita site:

Sounds like interesting stuff, but I already splurged on some Sundari
moisturizer earlier this year. I like the idea of the grape extract,
though, probably because I *love* the smell of wine & wine scented
products..odd, I know..
