Turning 25--do i start anti aging already?

I'm turning 25 next week , and I'm wondering if now is the
time to start anti age stuff. I have combo skin, and, due to a lovely
hormone imbalance, occasional acne. I don't want to be ridiculous, but I'd
love to be like my mom and when I'm 55 not look a day over 40. I usually
use Origins or Estee Lauder skin care. So should I start w/ eye cream or
something? Or am I still way too young for that? I love how Total Effects
makes my skin look and feel, but I don't know...

On my last makeover/consultation, the SA used eye cream on me. Thats what
got me wondering if its time or not. Not sure
-There's no such thing as *starting anti-aging." There's only such a thing as
"starting to waste huge amounts of money on products that won't do a thing
anyway." If your mother looks 40 and is 55, your future's in the bag (genes
are way more relevant than any coenzyme Q-10 night cream)! Dermatologist
after dermatologist has told me that the #1 *eternal-youth* elixir is
sunscreen, and that if people used it religiously they could be virtually
wrinkle-free for eternity. Try to avoid excessive drinking, smoking, and
caffeine (if you want a really boring life but a peaches'n'cream
compexion -- I say, bring on the undereye bags!). When you hit your mid-30s
or 40s, topical vitamin C (the only topical product that's been
scientifically shown to have any real effect whatsoever) might be worth
looking into. But really, it's genetics, sun avoidance, and -- down the
line -- let's face it, plastic surgery, if you care enough.

-Wear a broad-spectrum sun block daily and this will help a bunch!
