Ambi for the clearing of post accutane red dot syndrome?

I was wondering if anybody has heard of Ambi, it's an african
american skin product that helps lighten the skin. I was thinking about
using it to attempt to bleach the red dots on my face from post accutane
red dot syndrome. NOW, I know that if I use too much I'll probably get
white spots instead of red ones, but I'm not planning on using much,
only a sprinkle here, a sprinkle there. Do you think this might help
reduce the bluntness of the red dots or do you think its a waste of
money or will it ruin my skin conpletely?
-I'd be cautious, just read a health warning about questionable lightening
products. Firstly, anything with hydroquinone isn't advisable to use for
long periods. Secondly, the health warning was about the mercury present in
alot of these products, which is obviously not a good thing.

-I have used Ambi and it has worked pretty good for some scars that I had. But
a lot of people on this newsgroup have said not to use hydroquinone on red
spots, you should only use it on brown spots that you may have. Red spots
should eventually go away. But i have to say that it works pretty good on
brown spots though.

-I'm guessing it's not good to put it on red marks because those marks
will eventually go away, and when they do you will be left with a
bleached white mark right? Well, I thought this might be an interesting
post for those that have tried everything else to get rid of thier
marks, that there is at least bleaching as a last resort.
