Alternative Treatment For Acid Reflux
I came across this video from General Hospital of a lapro Nissen
Fundo operation. The surgeon discusses the procedure as he performs
it, and then afterward, he fields numerous questions concerning
Nissen, reflux, bmi/obesity and so on. I found this interesting, and
am posting in case anyone else has an interest.
Does anyone have any comment about the Alternative Treatment For Acid Reflux that appeared in the video?
The other things are not causal, but a knock-on effect of a weak LES and the
ensuing GERD. The refluxed acid or stomach contents can enter the throat,
the lungs, the nose, the middle ear and sinuses, etc., and cause infection
or irritation, which leads to inflammation. This is why it is a good idea
for patients with GERD to sleep raised. Having said that your sinusitis
might not be caused by the stomach contents rising up so far, but then again
it probably is directly related. Your doctor should be able to work that one
out.
If you are having bad side-effects with a medicine then your doctor should
find an alternative for you. It doesn't make sense for you to be suffering
so much from what is supposed to be a treatment
