Bachelor's degree ????
I see that some companies want people with this "Bachelor's degree".
What is it and where can I take this degree online.
I assume you mean in computer science with some
kind of web design element. The Bachelor's degree takes 3-4 years in the UK,
and usually people graduate at 21 or 22 years of age. It can cost a lot.
Typically, British students will leave with debts of around £10 000, and
foreign students have to stump up more for tuition fees.
The danger is you might spend a lot of money but find the course is simply
teaching you what you already know. You may be better off designing some
brilliant sites and using them to demonstrate and hone your skills.
No-one can tell you which degree to take. If you decide you can afford it,
you'll have to carefully study the prospectuses of various universities.

A Bachelor's Degree (baccalaureate) is a 4 year diploma from a college or
university. It isn't necessarily required for a job, but a lot of employers
like to see it. You can get a Bachelor's in almost any field (computer
sciences, I assume, would be your target program). Some universities offer
accelerated Bachelor's programs, where you can complete it in 2-3 years
instead of 4; these are generally more expensive and requiring a tougher
course load.
The only online program I'm familiar with is University of Phoenix, but I
know there are a lot of them out there. Many universities in So Cal offer
"distance learning" - taking their courses via Internet or video. There are
also programs available for working adults (after hours, weekends, etc).
Cost varies from college to college, anywhere from $10,000USD to $50,000USD
for a 4-year program.
An alternative, not as popular but effective in many cases, is an Associates
Degree - a 2 year diploma from a college or university. Community colleges
tend to specialize in AD programs that are flexible for working adults and
more affordable than a BD. You can also transfer credits from your AD to a
BD program in many cases.
