Skin brown spots
Does anyone know how to get rid of small brown spots on your skin? Any existing
antipigmentation lotion on the market to suggest?
-Any hydroquinone cream should do the trick. there are tons of brands out
there. I use Ambi but Esoterica, Porcelana, Palmer etc. all work I'm sure.
-A friend of mine had this problem, and the lady at the Lancome counter
told her that Fashion Fair makes a cream that will help bleach out the
brown spot. She bought the cream and it worked.
-If you go to your dermatoligist, you can get him/her to prescribe a
hydroquinine solution. I don't think you can buy this over a counter;
you'll probably have to get a prescription. But this should do the job,
and if it can't, the dermatologist can tell you what will.
-I have had my brown spots lasered, with exc. effect, although sun exposure
will make them reappear to some extent--this will esp. happen in
pregnancy, in using birth control pills, and with hormone replacement
therapy, I think. I use Trish McEvoy protective shield on mine--it blends
in beautifully, and since she has a matching powder type foundation, I am
not putting on a bunch of different colored products, all purporting to
me my own skin color....
