Alternative Medicine for Acne?
anyone know of some alternative measures for combatting acne?
also, any decent alternative acne doctors in NJ?
This newgroup has discussed so many alternative acne solutions I couldn't even
begin to recall them all. Do a Deja News search and spend some time reading the
old posts.
The alternatives that seem to get the most supporting posts are:
MSM (elemental sulfur)- 5000 mg/day
Head&Shoulders dabbed on pimples - very strong, be careful, but effective
Salt water (see John Popelish's posts for recipe)
Zinc, beta carotene, pantothenic acid vitamins
Tea tree oil (although, personally, I had a bad experience, but so many others
are so positive that I have to list it)
There are tons of others, but these come to mind.
