Acne Scars - treatment?

I've got 4-5 acne scars on my cheeks and am looking for possible
treatments. Anyone have any recommendations? I don't really want any
major surgery..

Anyone know anything about collagen injections? (Pros/cons?) Although
not permanent, they seem like the quickest and cheapest option.
-I have an old friend who used to get collagen injections for a large
scar she had between her eyebrows. From what I remember she paid
approx. $100 per treatment (this is back in the late 80's early 90's)
and it would wear off in 2 to 3 months and she'd have to get it done
again. It was a dramatic improvement, but to me that could get costly
to have it done so often because it's not permanent. I have no idea
what it costs now, but I do remember it had great results.

-Collagen injections are not a permanent solution. They only last
about 6 months to a year. The appropriate treatment depends on the
type of scars you have. If they are small pits, a doctor can do a
punch graft on them. He or she takes a small tool and punches out the
scar, replacing it with a small graft from behind your ear. If the
pits are very small, they can simply be punched out and stiched closed
without any graft. For larger depressed scars, there are other
techniques to try to raise them. Laser resurfacing works for some
people, but others have reported only slight improvement - it really
depends on how deep the scars are. Go to abms.org to find a
board-certified dermatologist in your area. Then call these doctor's
offices and try to find someone that specializes in acne "scar
revision." The doc can explain all the options and costs to you. You
might want to consult with a couple of doctors to compare prices, or
have the doctor treat only one scar at first to see how it comes out
before having all of them done.
