shoulder/back acne & training
I grew out of facial acne about a year ago (I'm 23 now),
which should be good news for those of you with acne who are 21
So I get acne on my face only occasionally.
However, I still have them on my upper back. I have to say that I noticed a
rather strong correlation b/w
acne on my back and the type of work-out I do. I've been lifting weights for
a few years, but lately, I switched to swimming for about a month and my
skin cleared considerably. When I went back to weights it got gross again.
Has anyone else noticed anything similar? Also, it seems that a lot of guys
in the gym have bad acne on their back & shoulders.
What could be the reason? Sweating? Hormones? Chlorinated water?
Or is it the bench press?
What should I do? I don't want to quit bodybuilding.
-Sarsparilla, Zinc and Garlic Oil cleared up what acne I had. Give it a try.
-Well acne sucks ass. I have it and im 19. I am seeing a derm and im on the most
potent $hit there is to get rid of it, ACCUTANE. The stuff works great, but the
sides kinda suck. I will clear u though. Do some research about it 1st, and you
may want to try simple antibotics 1st, and see if they do the trick.
-IT CLEARS IT EVERYWHERE! ITS A PERSCRIPTION DRUG YOU TAKE ORALLY. It works by
decreasing the size of the oil glands that cause acne.
