Neutrogena Multivitamin Acne Treatment
Can anyone who has tried this stuff for a while tell me if it can be
used as a moisturizer, safe even around the eyes, or does it dry out the
skin like most acne products?
-this should have been included in my 'rave' list--it doesn't dry my skin
at all (and my skin is fairly sensitive). it may sting a tiny bit at
first, but as your skin grows accustomed to using it, this sensation
should stop. start out w/a small amount (3 pumps' worth) and gradually
increase when you feel you've established a kind of baseline. i also use
this night and day though i believe it's only indicated for use at
night--oh well! i've had no adverse effects yet, and i've had the stuff
for over two months...? maybe more. it does a fantastic job of fading old
acne scars, too. i'm not sure i'd use it directly *on* sensitive eye
tissues--around the eyes, yes, but not immediately on lids or the undereye
circle area...
-For me I use a bit of moisturizer on top after I apply it. It doesn't
dry out my oily/acne prone skin at all, but I always put a bit of
moisturzier on. I use it at night b/c it doesn't feel very nice under
my make-up.
-I like using at night before I go to bed. However, it makes my face feel
all slimy under makeup. I have oily skin and it really brings out the
shine.
