your skin care sequence?

I am fine tuning my skin care regime and I was wondering about the order
in which you apply different products. I use Sheiseido cleanser or KB
washing grains in the little packages, occasionally exfoliate w/ PTR
Scrub, Use PTR AHA 12%, am trying out some new moisturizers (CD Vitamine
or similar), thinking about St.Ives Retinol eye cream, and just bought
Ocean Potion Sunscreen 45 Zinc Oxide.
My question is this what order do I use the sunscreen, AHA, eyecream and
moisturizer? I also have strange skin that is combination-ish, it is oily
in certain areas but dry on my cheeks and so my foundation looks flaky on
my cheeks, even if I don't use oil free foundation. I was told that I
have surface dryness, whatever this means exactly.

So my question is: What order do you put your products on? Does your night
regime differ from morning, if so why? Do you wait for time to elaspe
before putting one after the other? Finally, do you have any
reccommendations for my freaky skin?

One more thing: the reason I am asking these questions also has to do with
the fact that I am just starting to use moisturizer for the first time. I
had bad acne and was always afraid to put anything remotely associated
with moisture on my face. Also, I will be turning 30 in two weeks, so I'm
getting nervous about my aging skin.
-I have normal/dry skin and use the same basic regimen mroning
and evening:

1) Cetaphil (removes all make up, too).
2) Youngblood Papaya & Enzyme Scrub (not both day and night, every few days
whenever I get the chance).
3) some sort of moisturizer - either Shiseido The Skincare Daily Essential
Moisturizer SPF 10 or Lancome Hydra-Zen at night.

I would stronly caution you not to use AHA and sunscreen. They cancel each
other out because the AHA *errodes* the sunscreen off your face. You know what
I mean? The AHA doesn't allow the sunscreen to properly adhere to the face all
day. It also exposes new skin to the UV rays. I know this sounds unclear, but
it makes sense...if I only I were more articulate! That may be one reason why
your foundation looks flaky - AHA's often make it appear that way because it
sloughs off the skin all day and any oil you have allow the flakes to just kind
of hang there while it works to totally remove them.

You sound like you have very *tricky* skin, so I would consult a dermatologist.
He can give you the best products and recommendations and make an attempt to
balance your skin out a bit. In the meantime, I would just be gentle and not
use too much on your face. Also, the St. Ives has been known to cause lots of
problems (the eye cream only). I guess 3 people on BB that posted, they all
had horrible reactions. One girl's eyes swelled so she could barely see, and
the other had hives and needed steroids to recover...

-For daytime, my skincare sequence is
cleanser>softner/toner>moisturiser>eyecream> sunscreen
For evening,
cleanser> softner/toner >mask >moisturiser >AHA >eyecream
Mostly AHA product'll be used at nite.
