acne spot treatment recs?

Does anyone have any recs for a good spot treatment? The breakouts I have been
having lately seem to be single, glaring pimples that can not be helped by
anything I am using. I have tried the Neutrogena, but all that seems to do is
leave me with dry patches. Any ideas?
-I've found that icing the area works very effectively. I oftentimes get
cystic acne along w/ the typical red, glaring ones that sit on the surface.
Just get an ice cube and put it over the pimple for as long as you can
possibly stand it, or until the area turns red. My facialist tells me that
for some reason it works better to *not* enclose the ice in plastic or paper
towel. Do this after you cleanse your face at night, and maybe apply a spot
treatment afterwards. This has helped my skin SO much

-Clinique has an entire line called Acne Solutions, which comes in a spot
gel, cleansing foam, soap, and night gel. I use the spot gel from time to
time, and it works like a charm. Another old secret is using Visine on
pimples!

-I like the Origins spot remover for those on the surface little buggers, but
for those deep hurting cysts it's better to get a shot at the derm's or use a
benzoyl peroxide treatment, if it's not too big and mean! I have a friend who
swears by toothpaste, and I actually have tried and liked the Visine solution.
When I absolutely can't resist the urge to pop, some Vit. E cream and a little
Neosporin is my treatment of choice.
