Acid Reflux In Newborns

My son is only 3mos old. he has a lot of problems. he does better w/o the medicine then he does with it. Switching the formula to something with iron but for also gassy, fusiness and colic. What is the best formula for this

Can you still breastfeed? that would be the best thing. I don't know about formulas but my son who is now 9 had scorching reflux and never ate once without spitting up wasn't diagnosed until he was like five. He gained weight normally and everything, it was the ear infections that brought him to the doctor finally. The reason I say this is because the medication REGLAN has side effects that build up over time and if you are seeing an ear-nose-throat doctor, get a second opinion with a gastroenterologist. You'll be glad you did.
my daughter had that when she was a baby. I brest fed and i remember laying her down in her new bed the second day we were home and her trowing up as soon as a layed her down. it came out her nose and we had to suction her to get her to breathe again. this happened ALOT. the doctor recommended adding a little rice ceral to her bottles(because i was unable to brestfeed anymore) and it seemed to help keep her milk down. talk to you doctor about it and see what they say. I would not give them meds for it though.
