I have been accused of sexual harassment at the workplace.

I have been accused of sexual harassment at work. The investigation is ongoing so I know nothing of the circumstances. To be sexual harassment, the conduct must be unwanted, correct? And the only way I would know if something I did was unwanted would be for the person to tell me it was unwanted, correct? So how do I know what action I performed was unwanted?

No, it doesn't work quite that way, i.e., the victim of the alleged harassment might not necessarily complain to the alleged perpetrator of the objectionable conduct for a variety of reasons, particularly when that person may be her supervisor or some other person in a mangement capacity.
