Recommendations on MS Access training course notes. !-- end title -->
I will be running some ms access training courses soon but need some course
notes.
Can somebody suggest suitable suppliers?
I don't want to spend a fortune but would appreciate some ideas of good net
sources.
- The web site will have more
up-to-date information
They provide teaching material for Lecturers and have a range of services
from disc masters to x copies of course notes.Huge range of courses.
The course notes are written by practising lecturers, re-formatted into
their house style. The authors get royalties on what is sold and
professional lecturers get discounts on multiple copies.
-Have you tried running courses in which you are competent? If you are a
professional trainer/teacher, you will have developed your material in which
you have commitment and belief.
Let's have some integrity in training.
-I'm a professional developer with 5 years experience. I also have extensive
training experience.
You are saying that you have competence if you have developed your own
training material, which is ridiculous. Developing training material does
not give you competence. It only gives you training material.
-To develop good training material takes upwards of 10 days per day of
training. Microsoft material costs many times that amount. My own
averages nearer 15 days/course day.
I am currently doing a lot of Windows 2000 and TCP/IP training, but
using other people's material (mainly Microsoft and QA Knowledge Centre)
and simply do not have time to develop my own material.
SO what happens if I got asked to teach a TCP/IP course - where do I
get the material. This was a recent issue for me. It's hardly like I
don't know TCP/IP (see www.kapoho.com/tcpip), but I just do not have the
time to develop a 4 day course, with labs, demonstrations, etc in the
two weeks lead time before the course.
