Microsoft CRM 3 oddness
My organization has deployed MS CRM 3.0 on a new server, and things have
been going well since we got things running. However, I feel that there
are issues with the relay agent on our Exchange server, that there is a
"loop" in the deployed rules, and that the CRM outlook integration is
CRUSHING my Exchange server.
My first question is this- What is the recommended configuration for the
deployed rules? How, and to whom, should the rules be deployed? Do I need
a rule deployed for every CRM user, or do I only need specific rules for
specific mailboxes?
The second issues I worry about the the messages popping up in my Exchange
event logs. I receive HUNDREDS of the following message every day, if not
more!
Event Type: Warning
Event Source: MSCRMExRouterService
Event Category: None
Event ID: 0
Date: 2/10/2006
Time: 12:34:46 PM
User: N/A
Computer: EXCHANGE
Description:

Have you had any resolution with this? I'm experiencing the same problems.
See topic -- CRM Outlook Client 3.0 - store.exe using 99% of CPU --
I have a case opened with Microsoft for over 2 weeks now. Without a
resolution.
Most likely you're running into a MAPI problem. If you have a large inbox
you will see this problem. You can mitigate the effects by asking your CRM
admin to turn off aggresive tagging. This is an org-wide setting available
in the web application's org setting UI.
